ok. so i do not know how to blog about my trip so just liu2 shui3 zhang4.

day 1

arrive there at 15:45. went to see the sites around there. the notre dame cathedral and the old saigon post office. went back to what-i-did-not-expect saigon hotel which was a stark contrast to the Sheraton opposite so we kept going there to just walk walk around. had some shit-ty dinner on a boat on Saigon River but the food just spoils everyone’s palate.

day 2

a lot of history lesson for me on vietnam war. went to some Cu Chi tunnel where the Viet Cong used to combat the Americans. the tunnel is damn coolio and we walked through it. lunch at some chinese restaurant which was quite ok. then went around ho chi minh to buy stuff. dinner at some french tavern restaurant. chilled at some illy cafe at night

day 3

quite nice. one of my favs. we went to some city called My Tho and the Mekong!!!! finally seen a real river!! sat some boat to some island where they sell fruits and honey then canoed back to the motor boat. lunch was ok with some nice elephant ear fish. then went back to  ho chi minh. walk around and then had some dinner at some very intricate Chinese restaurant and then went to MOJO to have some smoothies

day 4

a total waste of time for the afternoon. took some 3-hr bus ride to a beach in the morning which damn pristine and the water so clear!!! saw some starfish and we had some bbq sotong after that. lunch at some resort which reminded me of A-Farmosa [read archives] and totally sucked. they said got some hot spring there but i am questioning about it. i seem to doubt the word ‘natural’ it is just like hot water?? then they brought us to cook some eggs which we decline. i think there are heaters below the “wells” as the well is so shallow and if there is heat, we would definitely feel it ler ma. then went back to ho chi minh around 8 and went to have some japanese cuisine. the owner was some jap guy so we talked to him in Japanese and he gave us a Doraemon cap with his store name. his store was like filled with doraemon. also had pho bo for supper.

day 5

nothing much. went to ben thanh to do the last minute stuff. oh. and KEN ONG is a noob steward. he splashed juice on me and my cousins seats. lol.

today was cny celebrations. i think we are very soft. must jiayou.

our class is on a giving cny card spree. so we apparently gave every teacher a card.

Valentines’ Day

today class was damn funny. all of us were like teasing teachers asking if they got date tonight.

the best joke of the day:

class: mrs.lai. you got date tonight a not?

mrs.lai.: of course lar!

class: u know aaron is going out with his gf tonight?

mrs.lai.: wa. really arh.

class: ya lor. aaron very filial one. go out with his grandfather.

and there was laughter for 10 mins

2nd joke: our class had an extra valentine day card so we gave that to mrs.goh. it is normal until you read what is the message inside.

3rd joke:

mrs.lai. play computer games.  apparently she bought some chi game called 仙剑 but cannot install into her comp. so she was asking us to help her. she also apparently play civilisation 4 and recommends it to us. and now we are inviting her to play LAN with us.

yesterday was jumble sale. quite fun.

bidded fish calendar and poster for $8. haha. our cookies got sold so fast. whee!
